Mathematics is one of the learning areas in the Victorian Curriculum. It incorporates number and algebra, measurement and geometry and statistics and probability.
Extensive classroom mathematical resources and a wide variety of concrete aids, including interactive whiteboards in each classroom, enable students to work on differentiated goals and experience success at their own level.
All Panton Hill Primary School students have access to a variety of relevant computer software to support their problem solving and skill acquisition and application. They have access to a wide variety of online resources and interactive activities including Mathletics which is also available out of school hours to students at home to support classroom programs.
